Without Meaning – Poem by Rachel Brown

Without meaning  do

I  exist  without  hope  do  I  live  alas  what  am  I  to

see life  for what  it  is ,

I don’t  feel right  forcing  others  to  see  what  I  see

knowing  that  my  long lived  loneliness   might never see an  end  in sight

without  meaning  in  my  life

I  am  empty  without  a sense  of justice  do  I  see  injustice ;

take   me  away  from  a country

 corrupted  and  crime ridden  to  a peaceful  country  where  crime  is  at  a minimal   its only  in  my  nature  to  see the  truth

in front  of  me

I  wait  for

him  to save  me from  all  the  things

that   might  end up  hurting  me  all  too deeply  to  attest  to  at the  end ,

knowing  his  love is   what  would  pull me  through

in the  end  is  what   will  make  the   difference  let come  what ever  may  it might  not  make  a world of difference   to me

but knowing  that  even   if  something  so  beautiful  looks  so  harmless  it  can  do  a great  deal   of  harm ;

my  life  as  I  know it  as of  now  may as well   be  a desolate island

full of  pain  and  misery  nothing  more  could  hurt nearly  as  much   as  being   deserted  for   a solitary  life style

it hurts  enough   to  bury   all   my pain   underneath  a  hurt smile.

Knowing   that  damage

cannot  always  be  undone  till  the   rat   is dead   and  buried

full of shame   and   lost to its own  lice ,

take  me  away  to  the  land of  the  rising  sun  where  dreams  do  come true  even  in  the  most harrowing  of times

it should  all  be enough to  hold onto  with  all   my  strength   lost  to  reason   to  really  care ;

its  enough  to  see  the   truth  behind  all  honesty   that was  ever  known

between  the  facts   and  the   lies  that  bury  us  in  our own  agonies  its enough  to  die  in  a pain  unlike  anything  ever known

unto  us  as  of  now .

I Will Never Lose My Hope – Poem by Rachel Brown

To lose hope is to lose everything that I’ve ever truly believed in even when it happens to be so full of heart,

I will never lose what’s truly important in all that we truly are, even now as we’re in so much peril as it may be at this time;

Keep me safe in your arms and I’ll never want anything more than to protect your dreams.

I will be set free as a bird in all good time indeed, ah, but all hope can never be lost,

I will set free the woman within my true unbridled heart without a sign of forgiveness to be seen to the ones who had stood in the way of true love unwavering;

I will know that somehow our love will survive the times soon to come between us at the end of the day even now when all my love is locked deep within my heart of an island.

I will never again see the light where all of my love doth dwell in all they sorrow so cold,

I will never see where my loves lies in waiting for me to someday come to him so willingly

ah, but alas my fairy tale ending will never come to be;

so easily in a reality which I have to deny lest I go insane from a love that I know can never be what is needed in this life of mine.

The Defined One – Poem by Rachel Brown

Thine heart resigned

due to the hurt which had become a

stormy night which thou cannot comprehend the hurt, deep within this heart of mine alas

thou art thine finest lover true in all things

designed to always remain most true

against all odds;

hold tight to thine slender form even when the pain

doesn’t pass from the boundaries of what was meant for the yesterdays which only bring about the sorrows of a mortality more painful than death

I want no more to strive thyself upon than the pain which drives thine heart most full of hurt.

Release my heart and all the hurt within thy heart most true in all things even

I will never seek another way out of thy,

existence even when all else had failed me even if all else had failed me I will stand always true

no matter what is left of me I will always remain true in all the things that had remained

all things full of hopeful thoughts and I’ll never

leave my ways of love behind alas it’ll all

just be a waste of who I am;

the defined one

is one who stands strongest against all odds

of who I am even now when love stands strongest and I’ll never lose myself.

Tis who I am that defines the strongest qualities of who I am that makes me strong in all things

which is why I cannot cry any more against all odds,

will I always put my love first in all things

no matter where it is that I leave my desires

I will not leave my heart in a shattered mess upon the floor regardless of the fate which defines me as I am right here right now;

I will never leave my words in a negative way

and not make them right it’ll all just be a way that I am it’ll all be a matter of time

until all things make right of themselves in the very end of who we are at this time.

The Ballad of a Broken Heart – Poem by Rachel Brown

His eyes so

full of sadness this night that only I can give

him what he truly needs as much as I,

do this night so cold and lonely in the way this heart breaks

for the man I love so much even

now when hopes and dreams shatter

upon the floor at my

feet none can see the pain in my heart

which I hide so well even when

it hurts so much in all that is meaningful in my

life;

I hide what I fear could

end my freedom for all eternity

even when love should be able

to conquer every little thing that stands in its

way.

I will someday find

a way to rebel against the ones who ruined

my perfect happiness so dear in all it means to me

and this life of mine,

Love is strong, stronger than anything else

on earth and I will find a way to

be with the man I do love

so much even when pain gets locked up inside

my heart so true;

I truly want to

find a way to happiness

where this heart can never be

even when I long for it to be so

easily achieved on

every given level.

Your Love Makes Me Real – Poem by Rachel Brown

I will love

like Romeo and Juliet

never to give into a forbidden desire like

that,

of a true fairy tale

of love and unrequited honesty which

gives me the right to love and never lose

where it is that

nothing could replace what’s real

in my life;

but alas he is the one

that makes me feel most alive in all

that is meant to be

no one could ever stop me from feeling

like a destiny that’s

been meant to happen since my past so full

of sorrow in all the ways

that have given me a

true peace of mind.

I will never

truly change when others call

us forbidden,

ah but none can fully understand

where it is that

my heart lies for all

that I am worth;

my past brought me back to

who I was meant to be without a second

thought

ah but we cannot

last like this even when I’m born to love

him with all my heart.
